Abtin Rezaeenia

Abtin has been working in the fields of media, marketing and communications since the early age of 16. Beginning as 2nd and 1st AD, Continuity (Script Supervisor), Script Writer, Producer and Floor Manager in the Iranian Film and TV industry, Abtin has worked with globally known Iranian independent productions. He achieved his B.S degree in Industrial Management which helped him to gain knowledge of Finance, Accounting and risk management. Abtin then moved to Scotland where he studied MS. Marketing at the University of Stirling specialising in Branding, Brand Management, Social Marketing, Communication strategy, Consumer Behaviour and applications of psychology in Marketing.

In the last 12 years, Abtin has worked as a Marketing and Communication Manager/consultant in industries including Construction, KKB, Technology, Manufacturing, SaaS, Food & Drink, Wholesale, Finance, Professional Services and Hospitality. During his career, he has been exposed to international markets including Europe, Africa, Middle East, Far East and former Soviet Countries.   

Abtin’s colourful and impressive portfolio has enabled him to work as an independent consultant in the UK since 2016 with wide range of businesses clients (i.e. SME, Entrepreneurial, Startup, and Corporation).   

In addition, since 2016 he has found a new passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge and experience with future generations and other professionals in the field. Hence, he has been working as a Visiting Lecturer with Middlesex University, Royal Holloway University of London, Queen Mary University of London and now LSPR. He has taught first year, third year undergraduate students and Postgraduate students, topics such as Brand Management & Communications, Place Branding, Brand Crisis (including Brand Hate, Love, and Sabotage), Social Marketing, Media Planning, B-2-B MarComms, Promotion and Advertising and ethical issues in marketing & Communications.

Abtin has a longstanding relationship with professional bodies such as CIM and ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers) and has worked with British institutions like UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
